This tool will hash a plaintext password into multiple one-way hashes for you.

It can also, optionally, generate a random password for you.
To generate a random password, leave the password box blank and choose from the options.

The below table contains your password and each of the hashes for it.
The cleartext password contains the password (whether user supplied, or generated).

Hashes are provided in order of brute-force security resistance, least to worst.

Note: Some hash types limit the number of characters used.

DES passwords use a maximum of 8 characters.
MD5 passwords use a maximum of 16 characters.
Blowfish passwords use a maximum of 32 characters.

Any extra characters in the Cleartext password for those hash types is ignored.
